I was stopped on the street the other day by a Greenpeace activist.
She went through the whole list of dreadful things that are happening to the planet, including Japanese whaling.
When she mentioned that their Greenpeace ships are pursuing the Japanese whalers, I only just restrained myself from saying, "Hasn't Japan got a navy? And gunboats?"
We parted on terms that were not too hostile, though she did conclude, "You're not really interested in Greenpeace, are you?"
