Shade trees preserve the eco-balance
I was in a cafe today, and when I went to the toilet there was a poster on the wall. It said "Shade trees preserve the eco-balance" with a beautiful picture of a Sri Lankan tea estate. It was a nice picture, but what does the title mean? As far as I can tell, it has as little meaning as most religious phrases. It might as well say "shade trees preserve the mystical beauty" or perhaps "spiritual ambiance" or some-such. Eco-nuttiness really has become a religion. "Tree spirit plays role in preserving mystical holiness of Great Goddess Gaia." Where's an axe when you need one?
