The long expected genocide in Zimbabwe is now getting into full swing. I think it is a safe bet that nothing will be done to stop it and nothing will ever be done to punnish those responsible. In fact, I'll go way out on a limb and predict that, when Mugabe is done killing all the people that he wants to kill, he will be rewarded by the international community with more money and more power in the form of "aid".
I saw your slashdot posting about the FDA being a leading cause of US death (June/05).
If you know where I can find such information/see such a study (tried pubmed and all peer-reviewed venues, and I suspect it is only available through alternative routes), or if you have the reference could you possibly email it to me? I have a vested pharmacological interest, I’m not just a quack or not a complete quack, anyway.

You may have been looking in the wrong places - most of the research has been done by economists. You can get a pretty good summary of the research here: http://www.fdareview.org/harm.shtml.
