Microsoft China blog censors 'freedom'
Microsoft Aiding the Chinese Government
I find it disgusting that an American company is willing to support the communist party in oppressing its own people for a chance of getting cozy and creating a stonger business relationship over human rights.

I have no problem with companies that do business with China, or other represive regimes. But companies that directly help to facilitate repression are another matter.
Recently there have been a bunch of cases of companies being sued for their involvement in the slave trade centuries ago. It won't surprise me at all if companies like Microsoft wind up getting sued for their involvement in the enslavement of an entire people.

This is someone you know, who has been doing his PhD in Australia. I now use this handle exlusively on the internet, so please don't call me by any other name! People in blog communities who know me often abbreviate it to FSN9. Do I still have login rights at this website? Can you email about that?
Oh yeah ... hurry up and finish your PhD. Your mother even told me not to contact you, because it would just give you another reason to procrastinate. You can procrastinate another day. To give you a hurry-along ... I submitted in February, and the examiners' reports are in ... passed with flying colours, recommended for vice-chancellor's commendation, no revisions required. I'll graduate in September, then I can use the title Dr.

You can't slag off the Chinese, they have ancient links with New Zealand!
I wonder what a certain ItA contributor makes of this?

This research suggests that Maori have ancient links with China (or at least Taiwan, but probably China before that), not that the Chinese have ancient links with New Zealand.
